Structural analysis

Using computational tools by Finite Element Methods (FEM) and/or classical mechanics we can perform the following types of analyzes:

  • Global or local structural analysis of ships, platforms, oceanic systems and structures in general.
  • Structural evaluation of couplings riser, umbilical and their components (buoys, plem, plets, etc).
  • Stress and strains calculations in industrial equipment.
  • Calculus of cranes, warehouses, steel bridges, mills, conveyors brackets, etc.
  • Dynamic calculus, impacts or contact of any type of structures.
  • Vibration analysis and reduction or mitigation projects.
  • Analysis of structures built in composite materials (GRP, Sandwich, armed concrete, etc).
  • Reliability calculations and structural fatigue analysis.
  • Risk based inspection (RBI) analysis by Markovian nets or Bayesian nets.
  • Structural calculus and structural collapse analysis due to temperature and/or radiation from pool or jet fires.
  • Calculus of Fluid-Structures Interaction (FSI).
  • Consulting.
